In 2023, the Taisei Group celebrates the 150th anniversary of its foundation, originating from the establishment of Okura Gumi Shokai by Kihachiro OKURA in 1873. This could not have taken place without support from all of the stakeholders that have trusted our Group over many years. We wish to express our heartfelt appreciation. Our Group has been inheriting and maintaining the pioneering spirit of the founder, Kihachiro OKURA, and our employees have devoted themselves single-mindedly to their projects. In this way, we have cultivated the business path, boldly taking on challenges. Reaching the major milestone of our 150th anniversary, we are determined together as the Taisei Group to further provide customers with value beyond their expectation, and make a concerted effort by polishing the technology that forms the heart of our Group. Our Group’s highly advanced technology will be used for resolving the current social issues related to the environment, energy, digital transformation, and national resilience. In addition, we will also endeavor to create innovation in anticipation of the next 50, and even 100 years and build a bright and enriched future.
